About Me (YOSHITAKE, Masaki)

I'm Masaki Yoshitake, Professor in English Language Education Research Unit at University of Teacher Education Fukuoka, Japan. I joined the faculty of this institution (also my alma mater) in October, 2003. In the past 20 years, I supervised about 100 undergradate students and six Master's students as well as several foreign exchange students.

I have taught English in a junior high school for 4 months, in a senior high school for 1 year, in vocational schools (including a preparatory course for studying abroad) for 2 years, and in Nagasaki University for 1 year and a half as part-time. I also serve local schools and boards of education especially in Fukuoka City, Kitakyushu City, Munakata City, and Fukuoka Prefecture.

I am currently one of the authors of SUNSHINE (published by Kairyudo), junior high school English textbooks authorized by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
